It's time to raise your standards and reclaim the value and benefits of making time for yourself! Every now and then, it is good to go away, have a little relaxation and disconnect from the busy-ness of life. We need time and space to rejuvenate, replenish and re-create ourselves. Making a commitment to invest in yourself by going on periodic retreats will keep you fueled and feeling better. And when you feel better, you live better and care for others in a healthier way.
One of my favorite things to do is to provide you with beautiful, tranquil spaces and opportunities to engage in soulful, transformative activities where you can slow down, go within and listen to your inner-wisdom. On retreats, you can wander through the woods, rest on sheep skin rugs, walk a labyrinth, write in your journal, review your life and envision your future. Retreats offer you a chance to get out of your head and reconnect with your body and soul through reflection, discussion, expressive art or sacred play. The intention of a retreat is not to change anything about you. Rather, it is to create supportive space to listen to and follow your own inner promptings. It's a time to catch up with yourself, look at where you are in your life and ask important questions.
